A VIP Booker is uniquely linked to a specific Calendar Item. Its purpose is to sell or capture information. Only in a few exceptional cases you will want to control the number of people buying or signing up
After reading this article you will understand the difference between a private and a public VIP Booker.
Let's dive in
Public VIP Booker
The public VIP Booker is the most common one. In most cases, specifically when you want to sell something (commerce VIP Booker) you will not want to limit the number of people who can reach your VIP Booker.
The VIP Booker is the last link in your sales conversion strategy. You don't want to limit the number of people buying your products.
If that is the case, you will use the VIP Booker as a public VIP Booker.
Private VIP Booker
Imagine that you are organising a closed event (private reception, exclusive gala night, ...) If you want to invite a limited set of people but you want to have an exact view on the total number of participants, you will set up a registration VIP Booker.
As the event is a closed event, you can set it up as a private VIP Booker.
With a private VIP Booker, people will not be able to register unless they have a unique access code.
