Create Reports and Receiver Lists with AI

Describe what you need in everyday language. The iXpole MCP App helps your AI assistant prepare the selection. Sign in personally when you want to retrieve results or save a Report or Receiver List in iXpole.

In this article you will learn…

How to ask your question, sign in, review results and save a Report or Receiver List.

In this article:

Ask your question

Start in a conversation with iXpole selected.

  1. Explain your goal: a Report to view or a Receiver List for an email campaign.
  2. Specify the period or Calendar Item and any conditions.
  3. Describe the information you want to see.
  4. Answer the assistant's follow-up questions so it knows which information to include.

Examples:

Use iXpole. Show the number of valid tickets per company for the home match on [date]. Include the company name and ticket count.
Use iXpole. Prepare a report showing sales amounts per company for the current season. First ask me which sales statuses to include and whether amounts should include VAT.
Use iXpole. Prepare a receiver list with contacts from companies that have valid tickets for [event]. First ask me which contacts we want to reach. Do not save it yet.

You do not need to know technical field names. Tell the assistant whether you want it to prepare a selection, retrieve results or save your work.

Sign in personally

Start in your conversation when the assistant asks you to sign in before retrieving results or saving your work.

  1. Provide your iXpole email address and the current six-digit code from your authenticator app.
  2. Wait for confirmation that sign-in succeeded.
  3. Continue with your request.

Use an active iXpole account with an authenticator set up. If you need help, contact your administrator. The app does not ask for your iXpole password or open a separate personal sign-in page.

Your sign-in lasts up to 15 minutes. In another conversation, or after it expires, provide both your email address and a new code again. A code that has already been used cannot be reused.

Note You enter your email address and temporary code in the AI conversation. They are passed to iXpole through the AI service and may remain in the conversation history. Use the AI environment approved by your organisation.

View results

Start in your conversation after you have agreed on the selection and signed in.

  1. Ask the assistant to show the results.
  2. Check that the period, event and conditions match your request.
  3. Check whether the response contains all results or a preview of a larger list.
  4. If a download link is provided, download the file immediately. The link is valid for a limited time. The complete file is a CSV file that you can open in Excel.

For a total or chart, ask for a calculation over the complete selection. Preview rows do not contain the full list.

Check important results before using or sharing them. An unclear question or an incorrect selection can produce an unsuitable report.

Save in iXpole

Start in the conversation where your Report or Receiver List was prepared.

  1. Ask explicitly to save it as a Report or Receiver List.
  2. Confirm the name. For a Report, also confirm its category.
  3. If you want a report in a Calendar Item's Actions menu, confirm that choice separately. The assistant checks whether the report is suitable.
  4. Wait for confirmation that saving succeeded.
  5. Open the returned link to review your work in iXpole.

A Report can be saved under Accounts, Sales, Emails, Tickets, Calendar, Hospitality or Products. A Receiver List is saved for use in email campaigns. Saving the list does not send emails.

Each save creates a new Report or Receiver List. Existing items are not overwritten. The saved item keeps the selection for later use; it is not a fixed copy of today's results.

Saving requires the appropriate iXpole administration permissions. If you can view results but cannot save, ask your administrator to check your permissions.

Note If a save request does not return a clear confirmation, first check in iXpole whether the Report or Receiver List already exists. Do this before asking to save it again, to avoid duplicate items.

Sign out

Start in the same conversation where you signed in.

  1. Say: “Sign me out.”
  2. Wait for confirmation that your personal sign-in has ended.

Closing the conversation does not automatically sign you out. Signing out does not delete your conversation history. An existing download link remains usable until it expires.

Answer
Do I need programming knowledge?
No. Describe the result you need in everyday language.
Why does the assistant ask follow-up questions?
To clarify the period, contacts or meaning of an amount, for example.
My authenticator code does not work.
Wait for a new code and provide both your email address and the new code again. Ask your administrator to check your account if sign-in still fails.

The current features retrieve information and save new Reports or Receiver Lists. They do not provide general editing of customer information.
My download link no longer works.
Request the report again and download the new file immediately.

Check your selection. An error message does not mean that no information exists.
Can an iXpole employee use this?
An internal employee connection can prepare a selection, but cannot retrieve customer results or save Reports and Receiver Lists.
