The payout method in a resale rule controls the amount a ticket holder receives after a successful resale. Review the examples shown in the rule form before saving a new rule.

In this article you will learn how the ticket resale rule values work

Let's get you started

Start at Admin >> Tickets >> Resale. Select Add or open an existing rule from Rules. Enter a unique Name and, if useful, a Description. Then enter a Value and choose one of these methods:

  • Fixed Cost subtracts the value from the ticket's original price. A €200 ticket with a €25 cost gives the holder €175.
  • Percentage Cost subtracts a percentage of the original price. A €200 ticket with a 10% cost gives the holder €180.
  • Fixed Earning sets the holder's amount directly, up to the ticket's original price. A €200 ticket with €75 earning gives the holder €75.

Select Seats, Parkings, or both to specify which ticket types may use the rule. The value cannot be negative and may have at most two decimal places. A percentage cost cannot exceed 100%.

Select Save, then assign the rule to the relevant event.
