When it comes to online sales, iXpole gives two different options in terms of customer self-service: either delivering the Tickets to your customers right after the sales or letting you in control of the Seats.

After reading this article, you will know about the different options that are offered to you and to set them up in iXpole.

The VIP Online interfaces (VIP Portal and VIP Booker) allows you to sell Seats and Packages to your customers. In both cases, exact Seats need to be assigned in order to issue the Tickets

Now, we understand that when it comes to VIP, you may want to keep an eye of the Seats that are being assigned. 
Or in order to offer a more efficient experience to your customers, you may prefer to send them their Tickets right away.

In order for this feature to work properly, you need to make sure that the Best Seat Available algorithm is correctly set up. 


Let's explore the two options:

Giving iXpole a full autonomy:

Go to Calendar >> Venues >> Click on the name of the Venue.  
Then make sure that this box is checked:

If not, check it and click on Save. You are now all set.

Keeping control of the assigned seats:

If you want to keep an eye on the Seats assigned by iXpole and change them if needed, you first need to make sure that the previously mentionned box is left unchecked. 

When a customer purchases Seats or Packages online, the Best Seat Available algorithm will still assign Seats. The difference is that they will be marked as temporary until you confirm them.  

Selected iXpole Users will receive an email informing them of the Sale that needs to be confirmed. And the Sale can also be found under Sales >> Pending Hospitality

Open the Sale, which will lead you to this screen:

Open the Seats by clicking on their name. The next screen will allow you to remove and choose other seats.

Once you're satisfied with your selection of Seats, click on Save on this screen,and you are all set.
