In some cases you have to refund money or credit a part of the amounts that were agreed to in contracts at the start of the season. And this without changing the initial contract. With the Credit sales feature you can generate a 'negative sale' in iXpole.

What is a Credit sales
A Credit sales is a negative sales. It can be used for a commercial discount or a reimbursement to your client. It does not reset the stock, or release seat- or parking tickets, which were registered in a previous normal sales.

Activating credit sales
To activate the Credit sales feature, go to Admin >> Sales and check following checkbox

Create a new credit sales
When you want to create a credit sales, you have 2 options:

1. From the main menu click on Sales >> Credit
2. From within an existing sales, go to the tab Extra and click on Create Creditnote

In a Credit sales, you only can add catalog items. Hospitality, parking, catering and incentives are not available in a credit sales.

Credit sales in reporting
Credit sales will be displayed in all reports which are related to sales. The credit sales will be marked with the tag Credit and the amount of the credit sales will be negative. 

Automating credit sales in your accounting software
If you want to automate the creation of credit sales in your accounting software, you should enable following setting in Admin >> Sales. This will transfer the credit sales to your account software.
