Workflow - Getting Started
Workflow lets an administrator configure automated and manual work in iXpole. The Workflow page groups Tasks, Functions, Pre-Event Handlers, and Webhooks. It also provides shortcuts to the integration log and external IDs.
In this article you will learn which Workflow block to use and where to check its results
Choose a Workflow block
- Use a Task to define a trigger, an action, an output, and optional filters. A task can run on a schedule, through a webhook trigger, or manually.
- Use a Function to add a user-initiated action to an iXpole object. It can run a task or open a direct link.
- Use a Pre-Event Handler to check conditions before a supported action completes. It can call a URL or evaluate a response query.
- Use a Webhook to react to a selected iXpole action and call the configured task URL. It can have an optional filter.
Open Admin >> Workflow to see these four blocks. If Workflow is unavailable, ask an administrator to check the module setting and your access to Admin.

Check a result
Open a task and select History to inspect its runs. Use Log on the Workflow page to open the Integration Log. The External IDs shortcut opens the mapping overview used by integrations.
