Updated scanners can load the initial ticket list in pages. Scanners can also select an entrance at the event venue before tickets have been assigned to that entrance.

In this article you will learn how to prepare scanner loading and check entrance availability.

Prepare the scanner

1. Check that the scanner is configured for the intended event and venue.
2. Load the initial ticket list using the scanner’s supported workflow. Paged loading is available to integrations that support it.
3. Select an entrance belonging to the event venue, including an entrance that has no tickets yet.
4. Complete your usual pre-event scanning checks.

Note Existing scanners can continue requesting the complete initial list. Available scanner controls depend on your scanner integration; this change does not require every integration to use paged loading.
