Use Distribute on the Tickets page to give selected Tickets to a recipient. The menu offers a download link, an email to one address, and separate emails to the guests on the tickets. Select the correct tickets before you choose an option.

In this article you will learn how to distribute selected tickets

Let's get you started

  1. Select the tickets
  2. Create a download link
  3. Send tickets to one email address
  4. Send tickets to their guests

Select the tickets

Open Tickets. Use the filters to find the tickets, then select the checkboxes beside the tickets you want to distribute. The Distribute menu becomes available after you select at least one ticket. Check the selection before continuing: each option acts on every selected ticket.

The Distribute menu contains Download link for tickets, Send tickets to email, and Send tickets to guests.

The Distribute submenu

Create a download link

Start on Tickets with your selection, then choose Distribute >> Download link for tickets. Enter a valid email address in To and choose Generate link. iXpole creates one link for the selected tickets and shows it in the dialog. Choose Copy to clipboard and share the link with the intended recipient. Generating the link does not itself send an email from this dialog.

Use the address of the person who should receive the link. If the email address is missing or invalid, the link is not generated. Copy the link before closing the dialog.

Send tickets to one email address

Start on Tickets with your selection, then choose Distribute >> Send tickets to email. The distribution dialog lets you enter To, optional CC, Subject, and Body. Check the recipient and message, then choose Email. The recipient receives an email with a link to download the selected tickets. A subject, body, and recipient address are required.

If your organisation has configured an app distribution channel, the same dialog also shows App. Choose it to send the selected tickets through that configured channel instead of email. If App is absent, use Email or ask your administrator about the distribution setup.

Send tickets to their guests

Start on Tickets with your selection, then choose Distribute >> Send tickets to guests. The dialog asks for a Subject and Body; it does not ask you to enter one shared To address. Choose Email to send each guest a download link for the tickets assigned to their email address. iXpole groups selected tickets by guest email, event, and account when it sends them.

Every selected ticket must have a valid guest email address. If one is missing or invalid, correct the guest details and try again. If sending stops partway through, some guest emails may already have been sent; check the outcome before repeating the action.

Note Download and Print are separate buttons above the ticket list. They create a local PDF or a print job; they are not options in the Distribute submenu.
