Design Studio is the styling editor for VIP Online. It brings the theme, branding, colors, fonts, backdrop, navigation layout, and a live portal preview together on VIP Online >> Styling. Select the Studio theme to use Studio-specific corners, shadows, decorations and title style.
In this article you will learn which Design Studio settings to use for each part of your portal.
Work through your design
- Start with the theme. Choose
Studio, then pick a preset or set corners, shadow, decoration and title style yourself. See Choose the Studio theme and style. - Add your brand. Set the logo, favicon, colors and fonts. See Set branding, colors and fonts in Design Studio.
- Build the background. Choose an image, solid color or gradient, then add a Studio decoration if useful. See Configure the Design Studio backdrop.
- Place navigation elements. Set the language switcher and portal header. See Configure the language switcher and portal header.
- Add website chrome if needed. Enter header and footer HTML and CSS, and select the pages on which they appear. See Add a website header and footer to VIP Online.
- Review and apply. Use desktop, tablet and mobile preview modes, then save. See Preview and save a Studio design.
The Portal section also lets you choose whether the portal homepage opens grouped or in card view. The old New homepage option is hidden when Studio is selected.
